Professional experience : She was member of the Scientific and Technological Argentinean Research Council and teacher at the Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata Universities. She had also directed graduate, Master Science and Doctoral thesis. The subject of her research has been the study of the main diseases of sunflower produced by S. sclerotiorum, Plasmopara halstedii, Verticillium dahliae, Puccinia helanthi, Sunflower Chlorotic Mottle Virus, Alternaria helianthi and pest as Melanogromyza minimoides. Resistance sources detection, races monitoring, biochemical and anatomical resistance mechanisms, resistance QTL mapping and the piramidization of resistance QTL are the major study issues. Since 1991 she has been working as Plant Pathology Lab Manager in Seed Companies: ICI, Zeneca and nowadays Advanta Semillas.
